Music & Mental Health – A Discussion Panel

Tuesday Sept 27 – 7pm

Musical Empowerment Board Chair Shaun Andrews moderates a discussion about music and mental health with a community panel of parents, academic leaders and teachers. Mr. Andrews is an advocate for mental health and mentorship who offers a unique perspective as a person of color, a parent, a former public school teacher, a mental health consultant and a music/mental health tech entrepreneur.

Pianoto Zanskar – A Documentary

Musical Empowerment hosts a screening of “Piano to Zanskar”. The award-winning British Documentary film takes you on a heartwarming journey with Desmond Gentle, a piano rescuer who treks a piano from his London shop to a remote village in the Himalayas. Watch the trailer!
