East Carolina University

Chapter Overview

The East Carolina University chapter proudly provides music lessons and mentorship for students in grades kindergarten through 12th grade. With the help of community supporters, lessons are held at an exclusive studio space inside the West Side Strings School on Manhattan Avenue in West Greenville. Applications are accepted for new students and mentors at the beginning of the Fall and Spring Semesters – with lessons running from September to April.

Chapter History

Musical Empowerment at East Carolina University, Inc. was founded in 2017 by Molly Lowder (ECU c/o 2019) and Kelly Hruska (ECU c/o 2021).
